Our History

Since 1984 The Baseball Academy has taken great pride in providing Utah’s baseball players with the best information available. The foundation of our instruction is drawn from Bio-Kinetic who for almost two decades has been compiling motion analysis research while working with some of the best players and coaches in Major League Baseball. Over two hundred of our past participants have been drafted by Major League organizations and more than a thousand have been recruited to play college baseball including four national team members.

Our Mission: Inform, Instruct & Inspire

Our program provides players, coaches and parents with the latest baseball information available. New technology makes it easier to analyze baseball movements. The staff utilizes both technology and experience to develop and discover new information for players to increase their performance levels through lessons, clinics and competition.

To Instruct:

The Baseball Academy provides players with the highest level of coaching and teaching progressions that will provide players of all skill levels the information and instruction necessary to reach their potential. Through positive learning experiences, situations and competitions, players at all skill levels will be provided opportunities and challenges that will enhance their skills.

To Inspire:

Our highly structured programs are designed to inspire character in each player toward becoming solid young men with a clear understanding of the value of goals in sports and in life. The work ethic required to achieve those goals is the main focus of our program. In addition, the Academy will provide a baseball experience that reinforces the player’s love and respect for the game.  Athletes train in semi-private groups at the Athletic Performance Institute LLC. Training time is based on lesson experience and number of players. Our program will go year round so you can stop or start training at any time
